KEEPING YOUR TURKEY FRESH
The Turkeys are kept at 0 degrees centigrade on the farm before despatch. We will Place your Turkey into an Insulated Box along with ice cells to keep it below 5 degrees during its journey to you. Once you have received your Turkey please remove it from its packaging. Remove the giblets and neck from the cavity. Either freeze these straight away or cook them to start your stock for gravy. Place the Turkey in the bottom of your refrigerator on a plate. Keep the temperature below 5 degrees at all times. If necessary refreeze the ice packs that were in the box and then put them over the bird, to ensure the temperature is maintained. At a temperature of 5 degrees or below the Turkey will stay fresh for a minimum of 7 days.
